Meet the New Lancaster LIFE Staff

As we quickly approach our Fall opening, Albright LIFE has been blessed with new staff bringing a multitude of skills! Please meet the newest LIFE Lancaster staff:
Hope Abdulkarim is the new Executive Assistant arriving at LIFE filled with excitement, energy, and brimming with ideas. She is a native of Brooklyn, NY, lived in California, and than moved to Lancaster eight years ago. Hope lives with her husband and two sons, loves to cook soul food, and engages in her all time favorite passion of dancing whenever she can. Before coming to LIFE, Hope worked as a butcher at Giant and was trained as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) at York Technical Institute. When asked why she came to LIFE, Hope responded, “The elderly are my peeps. I love my Dad and see him when I think of anyone we will serve in our program. This job will allow me to be an advocate for them.” Hope is upbeat, positive, and very eager to help LIFE get started. She is supportive of her co-workers and willing to take on new tasks and challenges. We are very excited to have Hope as part of the Lancaster LIFE Team.
Zoe Bracci is LIFE's new Marketing & Education Coordinator, coming to LIFE with more than 30 years of experience in human services and education. She lives with her two sons, loves to read, walk, and share time with friends over food and good conversation. Zoe has a degree in education and used to teach high school in Pittsburgh. Just prior to becoming employed at LIFE, however, she worked as a supports coordinator at United Disabilities Services. When asked why she came to LIFE, Zoe responded, "I have always worked in jobs where I was able to make a positive difference in the lives of the people I serve. LIFE will give me an opportunity to serve the elderly - insuring a continued life of independence and dignity." Zoe is busy making contacts in the community, letting everyone know what LIFE has to offer. She is very excited about being involved in a program from the initial start-up in order to help it grow and become established. We are pleased to have Zoe as part of the Lancaster Team.
